What does AI consulting give your leadership team?
Aurelith’s AI consulting turns scattered ideas about AI into decisions your leadership can act on. Five things come out of it, and three things change.
AI consulting answers one question for the whole leadership team: where does AI create value in this business, and in what order?
- 01
Leadership alignment
Owners and managers agree on what AI is for in the business, what it is not for, and who decides.
- 02
An analysis of your business
Aurelith studies your processes, your tools and the way your people work, so the advice fits the company you actually run.
- 03
Where AI pays off, and where it does not
A clear view of the work AI should take on, and of the work where a simpler fix, better data or no change is the right answer.
- 04
A prioritised AI roadmap
Use cases ranked by value and readiness, with a first step that can start now and the investments that follow.
- 05
A training plan by role
What leaders, managers and teams each need to learn so the roadmap is carried by the people who will use it.
- 01
Leadership that knows where AI creates value
Decisions about AI are made against the business’s own goals, not against the latest product announcement.
- 02
Teams that use AI confidently in everyday work
People know what AI can do in their role, what it cannot, and where a person must check the result.
- 03
A clear roadmap for the next investment
The next step is chosen, owned and sequenced, so money goes to the work that pays off first.
Three steps from open questions to a clear next move.
Aurelith’s AI consulting runs in three steps. Your leadership team takes part in each one, and the order of the roadmap is yours to approve.
-
01Leadership
Understand the opportunity
We meet your leadership team, study how the business runs today and map where AI could take on real work.
-
02Teams
Enable your people
Leaders and teams see what AI can and cannot do in their own roles, so the plan is shaped with the people who will use it.
-
03You decide
Prioritise what comes next
The opportunities are ranked by value, effort and readiness into a roadmap. Your leadership agrees the order.
Nothing moves into a build until your leadership team has agreed the priorities.
| Question | Start with a tool | Start with an isolated pilot | Start with direction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starts from | What a product can do | One team’s idea | Your goals and the way your people work |
| Who is involved | Whoever chose the tool | The team running the pilot | Your leadership team first, then each role |
| What you learn | Whether one tool fits | Whether one use case works | Where AI pays off across the business, and where it does not |
| What comes next | Whichever tool you find next | Whichever pilot is proposed next | A prioritised roadmap with a first step that can start now |
What does a good AI roadmap contain?
A good AI roadmap is one your company can act on. These are the five parts Aurelith works through with your leadership team before anything is built.
A prioritised plan that sets out which AI use cases a business will pursue, in what order, and what each one needs in data, tools, people and approvals before it is built.
Agreed by leadership before any build
An AI roadmap is not a shopping list of tools. It ties each use case to a business reason, checks whether the company is ready for it, and puts the work in an order that lets the first build start with confidence.
Aurelith writes each priority so it can become a Level 02 build: an AI automation, a custom AI agent or software connected to the tools you already use.
- 01
Prioritised use cases, each with a business case
Which work AI should take on first, why it matters to the business, and how success will be judged.
- 02
Data and tool readiness
Where the information lives, whether it is reliable and may be used for this purpose, and which systems need connecting.
- 03
Approval and governance points
Which decisions stay with people, who approves what, and the rules every AI system must follow.
- 04
People and training needs
What each role needs to learn and when, so the people who use AI are ready before it arrives.
- 05
Sequencing into Level 02 builds
The order of the builds, what each one depends on, and the first step that can start now.

What should leadership decide before investing in AI?
AI strategy comes down to five questions. For each one, Aurelith brings the analysis and your leadership team makes the call.
- 01
Where should we use AI first?
Aurelith looks atThe recurring work that takes the most time or causes the most rework, and how ready its data and tools are.
You decideThe first workflow, and the person who owns it.
- 02
Build, buy or wait?
Aurelith looks atWhether an existing tool already does the job, what a custom build would add, and what waiting would cost.
You decideThe path for each priority, and the budget behind it.
- 03
What will our people need?
Aurelith looks atEach role’s daily tasks, its confidence with AI today, and where AI changes the work.
You decideWho is trained first, and what they should be able to do afterwards.
- 04
What has to be true about our data?
Aurelith looks atWhere the information lives, how reliable it is, and whether it may be used for this purpose.
You decideWhat to fix first, and what stays out of scope.
- 05
How will we govern it?
Aurelith looks atPermissions, approval points, records, and the rules your people already follow.
You decideWho approves what, and who answers for each AI system.
What does working with Aurelith look like?

What happens once the direction is set?
AI consulting sits at Level 01, AI Consulting & Enablement. You can start at any level; the first conversation decides where.
A roadmap earns its keep when its first priority becomes a working system, with the people who will use it already on board.
Level 02, Custom AI Solutions, turns priorities into builds: AI automations that do the groundwork in your workflows, custom AI agents with one clear responsibility, and software connected to the tools you already use, with people approving the decisions that matter.
Level 03 is Company Brain: your company’s knowledge, systems and AI agents in one governed operating system, available now through Founding Design Partnerships.
The three levels, side by side, with what each one includes.

What does an AI consultant do for a business?
An AI consultant helps a company decide where AI should and should not be used, and in what order. At Aurelith that means aligning the leadership team, analysing your processes, tools and the way your people work, showing where AI pays off and where it does not, and turning the result into a prioritised AI roadmap with a training plan by role.
What is an AI roadmap?
An AI roadmap is a prioritised plan that sets out which AI use cases a business will pursue, in what order, and what each one needs in data, tools, people and approvals before it is built. A good roadmap gives every use case a business case and ends with a first step that can start now.
Do we need an AI strategy before we build anything?
No. You can start at any of Aurelith’s three levels, and the first conversation decides where. If you already know which workflow should improve, you can go straight to a Level 02 build. AI consulting is the right start when your leadership wants a shared view of where AI fits before it invests.
How does Aurelith assess where AI can pay off?
Aurelith starts from the business, not the technology. It looks at the work your people do every week, how much time and attention it takes, how much it varies, how ready the data and tools are, and who would own the result. Work that recurs, follows a recognisable pattern and has a clear owner usually comes first; rare work, or work whose data is not ready, usually waits.
Do you also implement what you recommend?
Yes. Implementation is Level 02, Custom AI Solutions: Aurelith builds AI automations, custom AI agents and software connected to the tools you already use, with people approving the decisions that matter. As with every Aurelith service, the scope, timeline and investment are agreed in a proposal before any build begins.
How much does AI consulting cost?
Aurelith has no public price list. The first conversation is free, and the investment is set out in a written proposal after an analysis of your business. For AI consulting it depends mainly on how many teams, processes and tools are in scope and whether a training plan by role is included. More on scope and pricing.
Is AI consulting only for large companies?
No. Aurelith works with the owners and leadership teams of operating companies, and the scope is set to fit the business. A smaller company may focus on one area of the business; a larger one may bring several departments into scope. The proposal sets this out before any work begins.
