Personal data we collect
We collect only the information needed to operate the website and respond to genuine business enquiries:
- Enquiry data: name, email address, company or organisation, company size, selected product or initiative, area of interest, and the message you submit.
- Correspondence data: information contained in emails and subsequent communications with us.
- Technical and security data: standard request and diagnostic information processed by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the website.
- Anonymous website analytics: aggregated page-view information provided by Vercel Web Analytics. It does not use cookies and is not tied to an identifiable visitor.
Please do not include special-category or highly sensitive personal data in the project enquiry form.
Why and on what basis we use data
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Responding to your enquiry and discussing a possible project | Steps requested before entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in business communication |
| Managing ongoing correspondence and professional relationships | Performance of a contract or legitimate interests |
| Operating, securing, and improving the website | Our legitimate interest in a reliable and secure digital service |
| Meeting accounting, legal, regulatory, or dispute-related obligations | Compliance with law and establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims |
Service providers and recipients
We do not sell personal data. Access is limited to Aurelith personnel and carefully selected providers that support the website and communications, including:
- Vercel, for website hosting, infrastructure, security, and privacy-focused Web Analytics.
- Resend, which delivers contact-form enquiries to our business inbox.
- Professional advisers or public authorities where disclosure is necessary to comply with law or protect legal rights.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, transfers are supported by an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another safeguard recognised under data-protection law.
How long we keep information
Project enquiries are ordinarily retained for no longer than 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a project begins or a longer period is required for contractual, accounting, regulatory, or legal-claims purposes. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
Vercel states that the temporary visitor hash used by Web Analytics is automatically discarded after 24 hours; aggregated statistics may be retained according to the provider's service settings.
Your data-protection rights
Subject to the conditions of applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We normally respond within one month, as required by the GDPR.
Security and third-party links
We use proportionate organisational and technical measures to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. This website may link to third-party websites whose privacy practices are governed by their own notices.
